Terms of Service

Welcome to Wahi, operated by Wahi Ltd., a company registered in the United Kingdom. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our mobile application (“App”) and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the App.

1. Use of the Service

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the App, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into this agreement or have consent from a parent or guardian.

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

2. Accounts

To use the App, you must create an account via email/password, Google, or Apple Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under it.

You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep it updated.

3. Content Ownership

All content made available through the Wahi App, including but not limited to:

• Hadith texts
• Notes and learning progress
• Goal-related content
• Recitation recordings and transcriptions
• Categorization, explanations, commentary, and UI design
• Training data and AI-generated content

is the intellectual property of Wahi Ltd. or its licensors, even if it was originally submitted or generated by users.

By using the app and its features, you grant Wahi Ltd. a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable license to store, process, use, adapt, and modify any content you input into the app (including notes and recitations), solely for the purposes of:

• Providing the Service
• Improving the Service and features
• Training and refining our AI systems

You may view, save, and use the content for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or distribute any content for commercial purposes without prior written consent from Wahi Ltd.

4. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
• Use the app for automated scraping, crawling, or bot activity
• Upload or transmit viruses, worms, malware, or other harmful code
• Engage in denial-of-service attacks or interfere with system functionality
• Upload offensive, harmful, or inappropriate content
• Use the voice recording feature for unintended purposes (e.g., non-religious recordings)
• Misuse the app in any way that could impair its operation or affect others’ experience

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against violations of this section.

5. Disclaimer

The Wahi app is intended for educational and spiritual enrichment. It is not a source of formal Islamic rulings (fatwas), legal decisions, or scholarly advice.

While we aim to present authentic and accurate Hadiths, we do not guarantee the completeness, reliability, or timeliness of the content.

6. Voice Recording and Recitation (Planned Feature)

If you use the app’s recitation feature:

• Your microphone input may be streamed to our servers for transcription using our self-hosted STT models.
• Some recordings may be stored and used to train and improve the model.
• All recordings are anonymized and used solely to improve the recitation feature.
• Wahi Ltd. retains full ownership of any stored recordings or derived training data.

7. Push Notifications

We may send push notifications for:

• New Hadiths
• Goal reminders
• Updates and announcements

You may opt out of notifications through your device or in-app settings. We may use your timezone to send notifications at appropriate hours.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to the Service.

You may delete your account at any time through the app or by contacting team@wahiapp.com.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wahi Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

11. Modifications to the Terms and the Service

We may update these Terms or modify the Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email. Your continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
